Hans' Birthday

My father-in-law's birthday this year was extra special with the inclusion of some very special guests. All of his grandchildren were in town along with his brother and sister in law from Germany!

We had a great time, and as you can see, the kids had a great time hanging out with their Opa.

Happy Birthday Isaak and Elias!

My nephews celebrated their 3rd and 1st birthdays this summer. The Tsos held a grand party to celebrate. What fun it is to see them grow, and to see them celebrate another year. I love these photos because they show so much of their individual personalities.

Elias, is quietly content and happy to be held by Opa as he blows out his candle. Isaak, the adventurous explorer is already curious what happens if you should touch the candle!

Happy One Month Isaak, Happy 2nd Birthday Elias!

We had some big parties this week for our nephews Isaak and Elias. Isaak turned one month on the fourth, and Elias turned two years on the fifth. In honour of the occasion, a portrait:

Canada Day at Kits Beach

Had lots of fun celebrating Canada Day with the kids this year.

First was a quick portrait session for the Bartletts to celebrate their 5th year in Canada, and then it was a picnic lunch with Mom, Hans and the kids.

Child Dedication @ the Bridge

Erich and Elias were dedicated to the Lord today along with their friends Caleb, Jesse and Emily Bartlett, and Parker Whitfield.

Eager to go sliding!

We took Erich and Elias to the park on Saturday and watched them play in the playground. Erich really enjoyed the slide. His grandparents have a play slide in their living room that they have set up for the boys and I guess Erich has been practicing. He was only too happy to see a real one on a real playground, 3 times as big! He must have gone down the slide a good two dozen times.

Seriously, I have no idea where he gets his sense of adventure. As I recall, I was dreadfully afraid of the slide when I was that young. Elias' reaction to the slide (shown in the picture) is a little more at par with what I thought of the slide!
